- 2. The paper Section A (1 hour) 1A – 25 marks 1B- 25 marks Section B (1 hour) Choice of two questions (answer one) – 50 marks
- 3. Section A: Theoretical Evaluation of Production Question 1A and 1B You must answer both
- 4. 1A Question 1A requires you to describe and evaluate your skills development in production work from foundation to advanced. The focus of this evaluation must be on skills development and the question will require you to adapt this to one or two specific production practices.
- 5. 1A- practices Digital technology Creativity Research and planning Post- production Using conventions from real media texts.
- 6. 1B This question requires you to select one production and evaluate it in relation to a media concept. Questions in the exam will be set with only one of the concepts. You can choose either AS or A2 main task or primary task/ ancillary task.

- 8. Section B- Contemporary Media Issues How do the contemporary media represent nations, regions and ethnic/social/ collective groups of people in different ways? How does contemporary representation compare to previous time periods? What are the social implications of different media representations of groups of people? To what extent is human identity increasingly ‘mediated’?
