LibGuides are easy-to-edit web pages hosted by Springshare that allow libraries to provide targeted research guides. They offer benefits like direct updating, reusable content, and integration of interactive elements. Many libraries, including over 150,000 guides by 31,247 librarians at 2101 libraries, use LibGuides. The University of California, San Francisco is implementing LibGuides with an initial launch of 10 guides covering topics like medical education and qualitative research. Creation of guides involves using a template and adding targeted content.
