- 2. Enterprise Introduction In this slide we’ll discuss on how to manage purchase template in Odoo 18. Purchase templates in Odoo serve as pre-configured documents that streamline the purchasing process. They provide a standardized framework for creating purchase orders, requests for quotation (RFQs), and other purchasing-related documents.
- 3. Enterprise First we can enable the purchase Agreements from the Settings of purchase module to manage the purchase templates.
- 4. Enterprise From the Orders menu, we can choose purchase Agreements to create the purchase templates.
- 5. Enterprise This shows the list view of the purchase agreements created.
- 6. Enterprise By clicking on New button, we can create new Purchase agreement of type purchase template. After adding the required products and choosing the vendor, buyer etc, we can confirm the template by clicking on confirm button.
- 7. Enterprise In the smart tab we can see the count of RFQ’s or orders using this template. By clicking on New quotation we can directly create a new RFQ with this template.
- 8. Enterprise The RFQ created will be having the same vendor, product lines in the template.
- 9. Enterprise Now if we go back to the Purchase agreements, we can see the RFQ/Orders number has changed to one.
- 10. Enterprise If we click on it we can see the list view of the RFQs.
- 11. Enterprise After that we can confirm the order and proceed with our purchase order for reception and bill creation.
