How to use bebee
- 1. beBee How to grow your network using the beBee Affinity Network
- 2. Some BasicTerms: • Bees – People (members) on the site • Buzz –Your news feed • Hives – Communities of like minded people built around a common thread or topic • Produce Honey –Write content or a post • Relevant – Similar to a Like on other platforms
- 3. Your Home Screen will look like this: With many options to find ways to connect
- 5. Home By clicking on the house you can return to your home screen
- 6. Inbox You can access your inbox by clicking here
- 7. Notifications Access your notifications by clicking the bell
- 8. Post When you click the down arrow next to post you will get the following options:
- 9. Posting options Share a buzz is the same as posting a status update in LinkedIn or Facebook Produce honey is writing a blog post on the beBee platform Posting a job is just that, you can post a position available in your company
- 10. Your Settings When you click on your name you will see this menu to access your profile and settings:
- 11. Your Setting Options From this text box you can: • View your profile • View your job application status • View the status of jobs you have posted • Manage your profiles (including adding a company profile) • Ask the help desk at beBee a question • Set your password and privacy levels • Choose your subscription level (this is mostly a job poster issue) • Log out
- 12. Newsfeed also called a Buzz This is your newsfeed where you can see what other people are posting
- 13. Updates and content sharing This is where you can share an article link, image, photo or video
- 14. Sharing a link and tagging someone You can put context to the link that you are sharing and then even tag someone to include them in your message Tag someone by using “@”
- 15. Now choose where else you will share your update
- 16. If you have already shared that link look what happens: Original Post Second Share
- 17. Grow your contacts in a bulk way I do not recommend this method. I believe it is always better to make it all about the relationship and not the robot
- 18. This is the dialogue box to connect in bulk
- 19. Your Hives (Groups) This is the list of Hives that you have joined
- 20. Profile By clicking on Profile you will access your own profile where you can enter additions and information and update photos and more
- 21. Hives By clicking on Hives you can see a list of hives that are available for you to join in many areas of business and interests Some of these groups are by language NOTE:The job title categories are not based onAmerican descriptions
- 22. Bees This is where you can find a list of people to connect with. On beBee you follow people, much likeTwitter. They will then choose to follow you back or not. And you can send people messages.
- 23. Jobs This is where you can view job listings
- 24. Producer The Producer tab will take you to a separate screen where you can read what others have written and click through to write your own posts

- 28. The Plus Sign This is the menu you will get when you click the plus sign
- 29. General Information and Ideas • beBee is a networking site that allows you to mix elements of your personality along with your business experience and interests. In addition beBee is a great opportunity for sharing your content, writing blog posts and learning from others. • Remember, it is still all about the relationship. Look at profiles, and interact with people to grow your network. • Best practices from other sites, such as having a profile photo still apply.
