  • #2: The objective of online and hybrid is to create an environment that fosters learning. This presentation should help you to understand the difference between delivery systems as well as provide you with insight into what makes a successful online course.
  • #6: Students are comfortable with what they know and they know how to learn in a classroom. It doesn’t offer any surprises. Many students like to be able to look directly at their instructor or other students in order to carry on a conversation. They need the direct attention that comes from a traditional course. Students may not grasp the basics of concepts, ideas, theories or course materials. The traditional classroom allows the instructor to adjust student learning almost automatically. He or she can modify the delivery of content to include further instruction in the difficult to understand concepts.

  • #13: Learning comes in many models. There is traditional learning also known as classroom learning; e-Learning also known as the virtual classroom or online learning; in between these two models is hybrid… it’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
