This document outlines an instructional design project for Donegal High School. It aims to address the problems of wasted instructional time and frustrated students and teachers due to technology issues in the classroom. The goal is to teach students troubleshooting strategies so they can diagnose and solve basic connectivity and login problems without teacher intervention. The training program will provide 7 sessions of direct instruction to 9th grade students on identifying error types and appropriate troubleshooting strategies through demonstration, collaboration, and assessment activities. Formative evaluations will help improve the project before a full field trial and summative evaluation across classrooms.
