The paper presents an improved direct torque control (DTC) strategy for a four-wheel drive electric vehicle (4WDEV) using fuzzy logic control, aiming to enhance stability and range on various terrains. Numerical simulations demonstrate that the fuzzy logic control (FLC) reduces torque and current ripple while improving battery efficiency. This study highlights the effectiveness of FLC in managing the performance of 4WDEV powered by four induction motors integrated into the wheels.
