• #7: CASE MANAGEMENT The case management module is an e-management of matters and files. It includes a history of each actions related to files, attachments and deadlines. E-Files allow the sharing of information between users, enabling simultaneous work on the same file which facilitates collaborative work to improve productivity. The e-file also consists of general information listing all data requirements such as file references, status, people in charge of the case and opponents in order to handle the case. Each action may be documented with texts or attached documents. Deadlines may be attached to an e-file and assigned to a specific user. They will be displayed in the user’s dashboard upon his login to IPzen. All types of documents may be uploaded within an e-file by any user. Rights management forbids the deletion of documents based on user’s profiles. Special features include: a template generator to create mails and documents automatically; linking of files on a parent/child model for optimal organization of cases; a flexible search engine to retrieve files and actions based on numerous criteria.

• #9: Beyond the classic features of trademark information, the system includes an automatic calculation of deadlines, in-depth information on trademarks, their registration status and a quick overview of your portfolio. The web-based solution allows access to the portfolio anytime, anywhere.
• #10: This module offers full access to a trademark portfolio. It allows a quick overview of the protection status of a sign as well as well-detailed information on each registered title or current registration information. The Trademark data sheet includes all data relevant to the trademark, including next renewal or affidavit due dates which are automatically calculated using the rules of the trademark law module. Documents may be attached directly to the trademark sheet, including registration and renewal certificates, assignments or license agreements. Each trademark is linked to an e-file in the docketing system for the follow-up of the lifecycle of its IP right. Entering trademarks into the system is extremely simple. Users are guided through a step by step process allowing the avoidance of mistakes or omissions of data entered. The follow-up of the registration process is visually indicated by color-coded statuses. The flexible search engine allows you to search in the portfolio for any trademark data, including not only deadlines and registration numbers, but also classes, goods and services as well as a set of countries or geographical areas. Multiple search results may be consolidated into a report and exported to an Excel file with the choice of fields to export. The trademark law module comprises of registration and renewal rules, historical rules for the entering of old trademarks and an automatic calculation of due dates.

• #14: The deadline system offers flexibility and reliability, including : single or recurrent deadlines, multiple reminders, official and non-official, open and closed status, and assignment to user or clients. Each deadline may be documented with a name and a description.
• #15: The domain name management is designed in the same spirit as the Trademark module, It offers a consolidated interface for administrative and technical management.
• #16: The module may interface with the system of your registrar for automatic updates and technical settings of the domain names.
• #17: This module completes those currently in place, as Trademark Watch, Trademark Portfolio Management, Matters management and Agenda. It can fully manage your domain name portfolio, including registrations, renewals, technical settings – while optimizing your time management through an integrated and user-friendly tool. The Domain Name availability search feature covers all existing TLDs. Search can be done on a domain names list or by a single term within any TLD or list of TLDs or even by selecting a specific country or geographical area. Results can be exported to an Excel file. The administrative management features for domain names are based on the same logic as trademark management. The integrated search engine allows you to filter one or more of the following criteria: expiration date (time interval), domain name status and sub-status, domain name family, registration or billing profiles, countries of registration (ccTLDs). A user-dedicated field allows tagging a domain name with specific user’s label and conduct subsequent searches on this criterion. Results can easily be exported to an Excel file. The Domain name technical management feature can modify attached DNS servers and the zone file when the zone management is delegated to our DNS servers. A zone file history is stored. As a result, it is possible to reload an old zone file at any time in order to restore a setup, without having to retype all necessary information. With the uncluttered interface, the zone file management is simpler and more intuitive.

• #20: The watch module consolidates all the results from the monitoring of your trademarks in an easy-to-use interface. Several monitoring services are available: The Trademark watch worldwide, in a set of selected countries or in a single country. Trademarks that are detected by the watch may be compared to the trademarks being monitored. Similar classes are redlined and the deadline for opposition relating to the registration of any detected trademark is indicated when available. Alerts can be qualified as relevant or not and are noted for future reference. The Domain name watch will detect the registration of domain names including or reproducing your trademarks. The monitoring service covers the gTLDs, the country-code TLDs and even the new gTLDs. Social network watch will detect the use of your trademarks in one of the following services: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Instragram, YouTube, Dailymotion, LinkedIn and Viadeo. Other social network services may be added upon request. Google AdWords watch will detect the use of your trademarks as keywords to trigger paid advertising on Google search Engine. The watch can be set to a list of predefined countries and / or a list of keywords to be monitored. The Mobile Apps watch will detect the use of your trademarks in the name or the description of an app on iTunes Store or Google Play.
