- 2. 1 FADE IN: INT. JAKE'S HOUSE - DAY JAKE, college student, age 20 and best friends with Clare. Picks up letter addressed to him and starts to open it. DISSOLVE TO: INT. JAKES LIVING ROOM - DAY SALLY, accountant, in her 50's and Jake's mother. SALLY Your Uncle left all of his storage to you. JAKE Probably worthless old stuff. FADE IN: EXT. OUTIDE STORAGE ROOM - DAY (Jake opens storage door) CUT TO: CLOSE UP - OF COVERED DUSTY OBJECT. CUT TO: Jake's face taking cover off the object CUT TO: MEDIUM SHOT - OF DOLL JAKE Creepy. (Picks up doll) FADE IN: INT. CLARE'S HOUSE - EVENING CLARE, sixth form student, aged 17 and Jake's best friend. Jake screams behind Clare will the doll in his hands. CUT TO: MEDIUM SHOT - OF CLARE
- 3. 2 JAKE (laughs) CLARE (hits Jake) CUT TO: INT. JAKES BEDROOM - NIGHT Jake lays the doll down in his room . FADE TO BLACK. Jake gets into bed. FADE TO BLACK. Loud BANG FADE TO BLACK. (Mirror falls and Jake begins to pick it up.) CUT TO: Jake's face and shoulders with shadow moving behind. CUT TO: His scared face walking towards a tapping sound. (there is a massive crash sound) CUT TO: His face as he leans back in fear. CUT TO: Fast clips of him on the floor and crying. BACKING TRACK PLAYS. FADE IN: (RING RING) Jake picks up phone. DISSOLVE TO Jake slowly picking up knife and a tear trickles down his face.
- 4. 1 3 FADE IN: CLIP OF LITTLE GIRL HOLDING HER DOLL AND BEING HIT BY A MAN. CUT TO: THE DOLL FALLING. JUMP CUT TO: INT. KINGS LYNN LIBRARY - NIGHT Clare and her friends are studying in the library and asked Jake to join them. CUT TO: Jake staring at them. CUT TO: Clare and her friends screaming and running. CUT TO: Jake killing someone who the audience cannot see. CUT TO: Jake screaming. FADE IN: Clare crying on the floor covered in blood. FADE TO BLACK.
