speaking skills by promoting the speaking using the structure
● Practise pronunciation focusing on /??/ sound by the repetition of
specific words.
● To develop their speaking skills through the answers to answers and

● Deepen their understanding of commands/instructions while
developing their gross motor skills as well.

· Teaching approach: the lesson is based on the Natural Approach, and
organized through the PPP procedure (Harmer, 2010).
· Integration of skills: Listening, reading, writing and speaking will be
integrated through different activities such as questions and answers,
· Materials and resources:
· In this lesson, Activities organized through the combination of audio,
photocopies and flashcards enhance language learning and acquisition.
· Seating arrangement: According to the group report, the students will be
sitting in pairs and in groups in order to facilitate the interaction with
their classmates and the teacher.
· Assessment: I will check that students understand and identify the
different language items by observing pictures/objects or listening to
their names. I will provide them with the necessary input so that they
may achieve the proposed.
ROUTINE 5’:
- Purpose: to get students into the mood of work and to establish rapport
with them.
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: T: “Hello students!” S: “Hi
teacher” T: “how are you today?” S: “Fine and you?” T: “I am fine”
I’ll ask students: “What date is today?” and I will write on board the date.
Transition:
Ok, so we are going to play a game ok? Can you get together in groups of four?
Yes? Great!
WARM UP 5”’:
Purpose: to get students into the mood of work and to establish rapport
with them. To active prior knowledge about the known topics.
Teacher will write on board the words “was, wasn’t, were and weren’t” and
will try to elicit from students what these words are in order to activate prior
knowledge. After this, teacher will write one sentence with one word in order
to help learners with the following activity.
Example
She was in year 2 last year
He wasn’t happy
They were in the sum
We weren’t sad.
Teacher will ask students to get together in groups of four in order to play a
game. The teacher will hand in an envelope with some words to the students.
They have to order the words and make coherent sentences. The first group
that finishes will win a prize. Each sentence will have a different font so
learners can order the sentences in an easier way. I will give a lollipop to each
student of the winning team.
Sentences that will be in the envelope to be ordered by students
Lucia was in the Park.
Peter wasn’t in the gym yesterday.
They were at school last week.
You weren’t in a concert two weeks ago.
I was at my friend´s house last night.
Ok! So now we are going to play a game. I need groups of four ok? I will hand in
each group an envelope that has some words. You have to order the words and
make sentences with “was, wasn’t, were and weren’t”. Pay attention to the fonts
that will help you to make the sentences. The first team that finishes wins and I
will give a prize. ok?
After one team finishes, I will check orally and I will write on the board the
correct sentences in order to check students´performance.
Transition
Well done! Great so now we are going read about a rock band. Do you like
music? Yes? What type of music do you like? Pop? Reggae? Metal?
Presentation 15´
- Purpose:
● to incorporate new vocabulary
● to expose to the learners to the target language
● to foster comprehension of the target language through a reading
comprehension activity.
Teacher will play a song by Rihanna and will ask students if they know who
the singer is. Who is she? Where was she born? What was her first single?
After this, Teacher will hand in a photocopy with Rihanna´s biography. The
copy will have a picture so learners can understand what the text is from the
picture.
Teacher will write some sentences to practice reading comprehension on the
board. Students have to correct the wrong ones.
Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in Barbados in 1988. As
a young girl, her life wasn’t easy. Her parents
weren’t happy and Robyn wasn’t happy either.
As a teenager, things were different for Robyn.
At 15, she was the winner of her school´s talent
competition. At 16, she was in a music studio in New York. And at 17, her song
was the in the top 10 over 15 countries,
1. Rihanna was born in 1987.
2. Rihanna´s life was very easy.
3. Rihanna´s parents were unhappy.
4. When Rihanna was 16 years old, she was in 16 countries.
Ok! So Now I will play a song. Can you tell me who she is, do you know her?
Where was she born? how old is she?
Great! Yeah She is Rihanna, do you know anything about her? Nope? Ok
So I will hand in a photocopy with her personal biography. You have to read the
text and then try to tell me two facts about her life, ok?
Now, Iwill write some sentences on the board and you have to say ( true orfalse)
and the false ones you have to correct them. You can work in teams ok?
Teacher will check orally and will write on board the correct sentences so
students can copy the sentences on their notebook and stick the photocopy.
Transition:
T: “Excellent students!!! Do you want to play another game? yes? Great so in
the group of four you will play against two of your classmates. Ok?
CLOSURE 10’:
The teacher will hand in three different pictures to each couple and a couple
of sentences about the three different people. Students will have to try to
order the sentences chronologically and to consider the personal information.
The first couple that finishes ordering the short biographies and matching the
sentences with the picture will win.

He was a small boy in primary school
His family was big.
They were poor in Rosario in 1999
She was born in USA
She was Hannah Montana some years ago
She and her friends were rich.
She was an actress and singer in 2014
He was born in Colombia in 1994
He was a good student in Colombia.

Ok! So know I will give you three photos and some sentences you have to read
the sentences and match the sentences with the photos. Try to order the
sentences in a chronological order ok? The first couple that finishes is the
winner
