ROUTINE 5’:
- Purpose: to get students into the mood of work and to establish rapport
with them.
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: T: “Hello students!” S: “Hi
teacher” T: “how are you today?” S: “Fine and you?” T: “I am fine”
I’ll ask students: “What date is today?” I will repeat is it Monday? No it isn’t,
is it Tuesday? No it isn’t, is it Wednesday? ( I will nod to them) yes it is. I will
write on the board the date
Transition:
Ok, so now we are going to work with your folder and we are going to do a
listening activity.
WARM UP 15’:
-Purpose: to introduce the topic and the teaching points.
Teacher will use their students’ book in order to revise the previous
vocabulary and to present the new one. Students will listen to a short
recording in which they have to complete the missing information. (It’s going
to be their first listening so the teacher will have to play it more than 2 or 3
times)
Students will look at the photos on their books and will try to identify what
the pictures are about. Then, they will predict the missing information.
Students might use their L1 to answer
Ss look at the photo and try to identify what it is about (a presentation of the A & T group).
Then, they talk about the information it offers (name, age, school year). Ss predict the
missing ages and years of each character. Check Ss understand Yr stands for year. Ss
listen to Track 13 and double-check their answers.
Ok, so now let`s open your student book. What can you see here? What
information is missing? I will ask students and elicit from them the missing
information.
I will play the listening 3 times and then I will play it for a 4th time and stop it
in the important parts so learners can complete in case they did not do it.
3 Audioscript
Laura is in the Art & Techno project. She’s in Year 3 at school. She’s 14 years old. Lucas
isn’t in Year 3. How old is he? He’s 15. He is in Year 4 and he’s in the A & T Project too.
Mat is 13 years old and he’s in Year 2. Olivia is 12 but she’s in Year 2! How old is Patty?
She’s 15 and she’s in Year 4.
Teacher will check that students have completed the activity. Then, teacher
will say out loud the information so learners can repeat after her.
Ok, so she is Laura. She is in Art and techno. She is 14 years old. He is Lucas.
He is in Art and Techno. He is 15 years old.
Transition
The teacher will show students a set of flashcards with the different school

ok, so I have here some pictures. Do you know what they are. Are they people?
No? right, are they subjects and school projects? Yes, right.
PRESENTATION 25’:
- Purpose:

Studens might answer by using L1 because of the English level
Teacher will stick them on the board and will number each of the school
project vocabulary and subjects. After this, the teacher will say out loud each
of the subjects and students will try to guess what subject it is by saying the
number that each flashcard has next to it.
The teacher will show students the name of one school project and they will
try to guess what school project is. Teacher will stick the name under each
picture. Some students might use their L1 to answer
English Maths Geography History
Then, the T says aloud the new vocabulary again and learners repeat after
her. As students are repeating after her, she will take out the names of the
subjects from the board.
In order to register the vocabulary learned, the students will complete the

Teacher will check the copy by asking to different students their answer and
will stick under each subject picture the names again. Teacher will ask
learners to repeat after her.
DEVELOPMENT 25’:
- Purpose:
● To foster to contextualized practice of the teaching points.

to the previous listening again and complete the following activity on their
folder.
After this, teacher will ask learners to continue working with their folder
and complete activity number three in which they have to match the
vocabulary with the illustrations.
Teacher will check students´ answers.
Ok, now we are going to listen to the previous listening again and you have to circle the
correct option. Ok? Great
