During this lesson, learners will be able to…
● Identify and name different feeling adjectives
● Develop learners’ understanding of the simple past regular verbs
● Develop their listening skill by watching a short video and their
speaking skills by the different activities
● Practise pronunciation focusing on /ed/ sound by the repetition of
specific words.
● To develop their speaking skills through the answers to answers and
speaking activities
● Deepen their understanding of commands/instructions while
developing their gross motor skills as well.

· Teaching approach: the lesson is based on the Natural Approach, and
organized through the PPP procedure (Harmer, 2010).
· Integration of skills: Listening, reading, writing and speaking will be
integrated through different activities such as questions and answers,
· Materials and resources: ?????
· In this lesson, Activities organized through the combination of audio,
photocopies and flashcards enhance language learning and acquisition.
· Seating arrangement: According to the group report, the students will be
sitting in pairs and in groups in order to facilitate the interaction with
their classmates and the teacher.
· Assessment: I will check that students understand and identify the
different language items by observing pictures/objects or listening to
their names. I will provide them with the necessary input so that they
may achieve the proposed aims.
ROUTINE 5’:
- Purpose: to get students into the mood of work and to establish rapport
with them.
I’ll get into the classroom and greet students: T: “Hello students!” S: “Hi
teacher” T: “how are you today?” S: “Fine and you?” T: “I am fine”
I’ll ask students: “What date is today?” and I will write on board the date.
Transition:
Ok, so now I´m going to introduce you to two people, she is Alice and he is
Josh. She was sad this year and Josh was extremely happy, can you guess why?
WARM UP 10”’:
Purpose:
- Purpose: to introduce the topic and the teaching points.
Teacher will play a short video from YouTube. The video was cut so students
will only watch the story of Alice and Josh without the grammar explanation.

After watching the video, teacher will ask learners some questions about the
video. Where did they travel? Where did they stay? What did they pack?
Transition: Ok, so we are going to watch the video again and pay attention ok
Presentation 20´
- Purpose:
● to incorporate new vocabulary
● to expose to the learners to the target language
● to foster comprehension of the target language through a reading
comprehension activity speaking activity.
Teacher will make couples and will provide learners a copy with a short text
to find out the differences with the video. Students have to correct the wrong
information. The video will be played again in case that is necessary.
Ok, so now we are going to watch a very short video ok. Pay attention to what
you see and listen.
So what happened in the story? Can you tell me? Students may use L1 in order
to answer the questions.
Ok, so now I will give you a photocopy with some information about the video
you have to find the differences and write the right information ok?
Teacher will check orally the correction of the mistakes by making the
different couples read aloud.
Then, the T says aloud the new vocabulary again and learners repeat after
her and teacher will add new vocabulary by drawing a chart and using
flashcards. Teacher will ask learners where they travelled, where they
stayed, what clothes they packed in their last holidays
My Last holidays
Josh and Alice were friends one year ago. They met in a café shop. Josh asked
Alice to have an ice cream. They liked to shop. They liked horror movies. One week
later, they travelled to France. They stayed in a romantic house. They were in love.
But one month later, Josh married another girl.
In order to complete the chart, T will also take flashcards to stick next to
each new word.
