- 2. 3. SCENE 1 FADE IN: EXT. STREET. DAY The clear blue sky covering the houses as we move from admiring the clear sky to looking at the houses and the cars on the street below. We are then revealed to a quiet street with a single girl walking alone quietly with the sound of silence screaming through the air. Tracking the young girl until she reaches a front door of house on the corner of the street. INT. SCHOOL. DAY Facing the sky, we are looking up as we hear the wind running constantly. We look down to face the front of a school is quiet and empty on the yard. Switching to a long shot of a long corridor, we see a girl walking alone. Switching to a mid shot of her face then slowly zooming out, we see another girl walking out of a class. Walking towards her we feel the tension increase. VANNESSE Hey Omelia, all alone again? She starts to laugh as Omelia ignores and carries on walking alone down the corridor. VANNESSE Hey asked you a question!! Vannesse runs to Amelia and grabs her on her arm and pushes her hard against the wall. Looking at Omelia’s we she her start to shake in fear as her head is down and she shows fear in the situation. OMELIA I’m… I’m sorry I was rushing to class because I am late Vannesse I don’t care if you had to give in your homework.When I speak to you , you answer me no matter what, GOT IT!!!
- 3. 3. OMELIA Ye, I hear you sorry Vannesse lets go of her and starts laughing gas she walks away. Omelia starts to walk away as she picks up her back. Sh then starts to speak underneath her breath… OMELIA Im am tired of being treated like that, she really doesn’t know how it feels to be alone. We are then brought to the front of the house, all the lights off and a car on the drive. We see a young girl walking down the street and Turing to go to this house. She opens the door and enter the house. INT. HOME. EVENING Vannesse (Saying with excitement) Hi Mom I’m back, how was your day? There is no response She closes the front door and walks towards the living room MOM Is that you V?
- 4. 3. VANNESSE Ye, it is me. Are you ok? As Vannesse opens the front room door she feels her phone buzz. She takes it out of her coat pocket.Looking at her phone her face drops slightly in shock as if she has seen something sickening. She then puts it back into her pocket, takes of her coat and puts on a smile as she then walks into the room. Mom (With a hint of gladness in her voice) I’m ok, just tired and still but I am ok how are you? Mom is lying down on the couch, clearly looking ill as she turns around to see her daughter coming back home from school. VANNESSE Well… (Sigh) No mom, stay still I will come to you!! Turning back round in pain the atmosphere changes to a sad and tense feeling. Mom (Says in a soft and quiet voice) So, how’s school The room goes silent
- 5. 3. Breaking the silent Vannesse looks at her mom and says in a happy and energetic voice. VANNESSE Im going upstairs, love you Picking up her bag, she gets up and kisses her mom on the cheek. Mom whispers in a soft voice MOM Love you too The camera follows her from behind Vannesse reaches her room and shuts the door. We are left outside with door in our faces. It the starts to fade to a black screen (slowly) A soothing voice over of a male voice reciting is a quote when the screen is fully back. Scene 2 INT.BEDROOM.NIGHT Vannesse is placing her phone on charge as sh goes into be. As she gets into her bed, she falls straight asleep. The screen goes white and then we hear Omelia’s voice in the background. OMELIA I wonder how she would cope being lone
- 6. 3. Scene 3 INT. BEDROOM.DAY Vannesse wakes up in a flood of light in her bed as the morning screams her name through the outside of her window. She stretches and get out of bed. She then starts to get ready. WE ARE THEN SHOWN QUCIK AND SHARP SHOTS OF TIME PERIOS WHERE SHE IS GETTING READY IN THE MORNING. INT.BATHROOM.DAY Vannesse is brushing her teeth She is in the mirror doing her hair INT.BEDROOM.DAY Picking out clothes INT.STAIRS.DAY We are then swooped to the top of the stairs as we see her walking down the stairs heading for the kitchen as she does every day. She is in the kitchen and starts to make breakfast. As she calmly pours the milk into the bowl, mom walks down stairs. INT.KITCHEN.DAY VANNESSE Morning Mom, how are you? She sees her mom standing up and cooking, looking and feeling confused she continues to move towards the fridge. Mom says nothing and carries on walking to the fridge as she is about to make breakfast Vannesse looks confused but goes into the fridge as she searches for food. MOM (shouting) Vannesse wake up before your late
- 7. 3. VANNESSE I’m here Mom? OMELIA I’m coming, I’m coming Vannesse turns around to see Emilia walking through the door in her favourite pj’s. VANNESSE Omelia, why are you in my house are you taking the mick. Mom cuts Vannesse off MOM Finally, I made your favourite OMELIA Sorry I’m shattered from last nights meal with you Vannesse is now confused, looking at Omelia she doesn’t understand what is happening VANNESSE I’m here,Mom, thats not me, Vannesse!!! Vannesse is ignored as mom and Amelia walk out of the room and go upstairs to get changed for school and work. Vannesse is confused and is frozen in her tracks, not releasing that this was the start of her worse life she will ever have.
- 8. 3. EXT.OUTSIDE(Field).Day Sharply and quickly we are brought to a blurry open field with two girls in it. They walk towards each other and the picture starts to become clearer.We see it is Omelia and Vannesse. They walk up to each other, Vannesse anxious and determined and Omelia calm and slowly. They come face to face. VANNESSE What is this, why can no one see me Omelia starts to giggle OMELIA You took my confidence away from me so I wished you would know what it feels like to have something taken away from you, and here we are. VANNESSE What do you mean, what have I done to you? OMELIA You mocked me,laughed at me,hurt me emotionally and physically.. (Pause) you deserve what ever is coming to you so get used to it. Omega starts to walk away and Vannesse grabs her by the arm. As this happens Omelia pushes Vanesse with force. OMELIA Get off me, just believe it is going to get worse that this We are brought through a serious of colours flashing on the screen as the sound of cars and people talking and rushing starts to appear.(fade in) We are then shown a Vannesse face sligtly faded. The screen goes black.
- 9. 3. Scene 5 We are looking at the world through the eyes of someone who looks like they are sitting on the floor on a pavement. The eyes blink a couple of times as if just waking up. The camera is arced to the front of the person. We see that it is a homeless man alone slouching against a wall. VANNESSE Whats happening why am I on the floor. A group of girls walk past and as they walk past, we see that Omelia is at the front of the group in the middle. OMELIA EEEEEEE, look at that tramp The girls starts laughing VANNESSE Omega is that you? The group of girls look in disgust OMELIA You don’t me eeeee Don’t talk to me, your homeless. Vannesse looks at her hands and realises that,that, she is homeless. She screams at the top of her voice as she is overwhelmed. VANESSE Nooooooo!!!
- 10. 3. The is a tilted up to the sky as the camera zooms into the clouds In the background a deep voice is explaining how actions lead to consequences which is read by the narrator. Narrator A voice over saying something about making choices in the mind and its consequences Fades to Black screen The End
