LRNG constructs equitable networks where
young people connect with engaging learning
experiences, like minded peers, mentors and
real-world opportunities through a technology
enabled ecosystem.
We are focused on closing the equity gap by
putting young people on paths to success.
LRNG is powered by Collective Shift.
The Problem
• Low income youth have few opportunities to
develop and share their skills and
competencies.
• Skills and competencies learned outside of
traditional institutions are neither visible nor
valued.
• Traditional learning experiences are seldom
connected to real world opportunities
• Opportunities for learning are not equitably
distributed. This opportunity gap perpetuates
social inequity and locks economically
disadvantaged youth into cycles of poverty.
Our Proposed Solution
• Utilize Open Badges to credential skills and
competencies learned anywhere and
everywhere
• Connect LRNG badges to a broader credential
ecosystem to ensure youth access to
equitable opportunities.
• Connect LRNG badges and credentials into
meaningful pathways for low income youth
• Enable youth to discover and explore
credentials as they build their path to success
• Visualize credentials to enable youth to see
their path forward
