  • #3: Through speaking to researchers and talking to our customers, we have recognized that organisations within the telecoms sector, and other industries such as retail insurance and finance are spending vast amounts of money on analysis and reporting… Most of which is due to the difficulty of connecting the many data sources they have/need to utilize together.
  • #4: Now don’t get me wrong, We understand you are all doing some fantastic analysis, and you are managing to bring your data sources together in one shape of form or another… But the whole process of doing so.. Is still in most cases lacking in what I would describe as “improved automation”… An example of this is the many different stages that an Analyst will have to go through before they can do their highly skilled job and perform the analysis required that drives key decisions….. First they have to… Source Normalise Profile it for mistakes Match it against other records… Cleanse De Dupe Enrich And then, and only then… finally do the analysis that the business requires…
  • #5: As a stakeholder in the business, I am sure there are many different things that you would want to be able to report on… You may want information about your Network Service Assets For things like planning, improvements or repair…. Or you may want more detailed information about where your customers are, where new customers could be, or how to market new products or specific offerings into new areas….
  • #6: And again, we know you are already doing this…… You have big teams of analysts and huge data environments to help you draw on the information you require… But more often than not…. We hear from our customers that this often takes too much time, the data is not always trusted, and the processing is becoming more and more costly. Poll question!!!
  • #7: As I said before, we understand you are already doing some amazing analysis, and you no doubt have some even more impressive analytical plans for the future…. But again in most cases, we are hearing that you want to go into even deeper detail about your network Services Assets Products or customer data by having the ability to bring in other sources that are currently difficult to access, or hard and costly to processs… SO What we do that is different is to provide you with a platform (SPECTRUM) that can take all of that information your business is creating holistically... And no matter where it resides…. Enable you to Analyse it, Self Serve on it, and Process your results in the most efficient way…..
  • #8: We understand that you have many different data sources and strategies that could harness and leverage critical information if it was available to you… So have designed SPECTRUM - our Data and Location platform to enable you to connect to any source, or work natively within your cloud environment…. The platform enables you to utilise existing anaylsis, develop new analysis and process more data, and report on it in a Self-Service fashion….
  • #9: And again we understand the typical types of questions that you may wish to ask of your data within spectrum…. You might want to collect signal strength in realtime for marketing to show coverage within certain areas…. You may want to report on network performance to drive planning… It may also be cool to look at things like points of interest within certain areas so you can add that to your network analysis… Or begin to geoenrich your customer addresses vs where your fixed lines are so you can plan your marketing more effectively…. To be honest, the list of use cases are endless…. But as I said what we help you do is to answer those questions faster………. With more supplementary data…. Within an easy to use Self Service platform that works natively within your data environment.
  • #10: We understand that you have many different data sources and strategies that could harness and leverage critical information if it was available to you… So have designed SPECTRUM - our Data and Location platform to enable you to connect to any source, or work natively within your cloud environment…. The platform enables you to utilise existing anaylsis, develop new analysis and process more data, and report on it in a Self-Service fashion….
  • #11: So I’ve talked about what we do and how we do it, and I’ve taken you through the first step, which is provide you fast value on your existing analyisis by connecting to your data sources and enabling you to self serve holistically… Step two is all about refinement…. I mentioned before that we can take your existing analysis, but maybe now or in the future you will also doing some really innovative things around things like machine learning for predictive analytics?? Or you might want to look into how you can automate looking at the relationships between things like people places and things by utilising things like graph analysis. Again this is something we can do, and something we can help you with… Our extended platform utilises graph technology for analysis…. to help you identify the relationships between people places and things And also can ingest any machine learning algorithms that you may develop. Again interesting fact, we have some examples of how Machine learning can be used to perform Network Planning Optimisation if of interest after this event. And we can also help with any data quality or migration issues you may have through the use of our extended technologies.
  • #12: Finally… The third step, which again we are fully geared up to help with is to present your findings…. So we’ve connected to your data source (in this example we are running natively within a Big data environment) we’ve utilised any analysis you are doing, we’ve enriched it with other data sources…… And then we are providing you with a feature rich environment that allows your findings right across the business as you fit within a self-service fashion which should help you ultimately…. Optimise your network and subscriber analytics………
  • #13: So if any of you were on our last webinar you will have seen we talked about how our solution (SPECTRUM) coonects to multiple sio’d data sources together in an on-premis and hybrid infrastructure environment. Bringing data from different departments such as units together and providing a way to manage and visualise this data. The platform is extremely flexible in regard to data integration from flat files, to spatial data like shapefiles, QGIS, Spatial databases and other sources such as SQL, Oracle and Big Data Lakes supporting REST and SOAP Protocols in order to ingest and expose custom spatial and business processes. To talk a little more about how to do that, I’m now going to hand over to Lamont who is one of our amazing product managers…
