- 3. Magazine Front Cover: • The cover will be a photo of Megan, and the setting will either be on the street, park or in a café. • The photo will be a portrait medium close-up, so that there is a connection between the cover star and reader. • The use of an unknown person will create a sense of personal identity with the reader – if they relate to the main story. • There will be cover lines surrounding Megan – the main story on one side, and other big stories on the other side of the photo. • The masthead will be placed at the top, above Megan’s head – stands out. • The main story in this magazine will be focused on coming out, and what to do if it does not go as planned.

Magazine Contents Page: • The contents page will be a double page spread. • The double page will be split into four columns – 2 columns on each page. • The photo in the background will be a landscape photo of Megan, where her face will be the focus of the first column, and the other three columns will be listing the contents of the magazine. • There will also be a ‘next issue’ section on this page, with a picture of the other issue of the magazine. • There will also be an advert present somewhere on the contents page. • The titles of each of the stories within the magazine will be exaggerated in order to fit in with the genre of a real-life magazine.

Magazine Front Cover: • The cover will be a photo of Beth, and the setting will either be outside or in an antiques store. • The photo will have a direct mode of address, so that there is a connection between the cover star and reader. • The use of an unknown person will create a sense of personal identity with the reader – if they relate to the main story. • The main story in this magazine will be about habits picked up during lockdown. • The story will also have a focus on the negatives in order to follow the genre conventions of a real-life magazine. • The masthead will be at the top of the page, and coverlines will surround Beth.
