Workfirst is a three-year program aimed at aiding 140 formerly homeless individuals in attaining long-term housing and self-sufficiency through personalized support and employment services. The program focuses on engaging clients who are newly housed, regardless of their job readiness, and employs a strengths-based, client-directed approach while incorporating evidence-based tools to facilitate change and skill development. Evaluation of the program will examine its efficacy in improving employment and housing outcomes compared to traditional employment services and assess the implications of service timing and cost offsets.
