- 1. Audio Proposal 1 Working Title: Luke’s Hot Topic Podcast (LHTP) What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Product’s Purpose: To entertain and enjoy, friends belligerently screaming at each other What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: Entertainment (by making a light-hearted jokes and comments on the topic we are on about without insulting anyone) and talk show (we’d talk about games, TV shows and films as well as news). It will also have a relaxing hip-hop song in the background to listen to whilst listening to use ramble) What sort of product is it Content: We will talk about news and topics that we care about such as news in the gaming industry (like changes to games that we play, care about) What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Audience: 18-24 year old males, who just want to listen to mates talk about stuff they may care about, or something that they might play and might just want to get opinions on something Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Legal & Ethical Considerations: Think about any offensive material you will include? It could have some offensive content in it, but it would be bleeped out/censored. Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Yes, as some off the content as some off the content that may not be so family friendly and aimed at younger audiences to listen to. Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? It will not be targeted to offend anyone of different social groups/religions and ethnicities. How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? I will try to keep high offensive and controversial topics that we may share different opinions on away from the podcast to remove any chance that it would offend anyone. Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Everything that would be original content, but the music in the background would be my friend (Chase Morman’s) song, which I have asked for consent to use and he has given to me in written consent. Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement? Yes, it will have original topics that it talks about and will not go on about other podcasts, unless mentioned on passing.
