5. INTRODUCTION
A system that uses technology to automatically collect
payments for parking and toll usage.
Combination of Vehicle detection, image capturing, license
plate recognition, tollgate controlling by automatic toll
collection
The main advantages are that it completely automates our
work and hence we don’t have to designate a specific personal
for this
The components required to do so are very cheap and the
implementation logic is simple enough to be implemented on a
large scale.

10. Methodology
Attach an RFID tag : When a new vehicle is purchased, an
RFID tag is attached to the vehicle and linked to a prepaid
account. The RTO or traffic governing authority assigns the
unique identification number.
Scan the RFID tag :When a vehicle approaches a toll plaza, an
RFID reader scans the tag to detect the vehicle type and the
toll amount to deduct.
Open the toll gate : If there is enough balance in the prepaid
account, the toll gate opens.
Send a message sends a message to the driver's mobile
number to confirm the deduction.
