- 1. SCRIPT FOR READING MONTH CELEBRATION Good morning our dear students and parents! Please maintain silence and avoid leaving in our google meet because our program will start in a few minutes. Dear participants, just a gently reminder before we start. We would like to request everyone to please settle down and turn off of your microphone if you’re not going to ask some questions and for us to understand what the speaker is talking about. A pleasant morning to all of you. I am Teacher Mariel Maraquilla your emcee for today’s event and welcome to our opening program in celebration of reading month with the theme “BAWAT BATA BUMABASA SA KABILA NG HAMON NG PANDEMYA”. May I request everyone to please stand and remain silent for our opening prayer to be led by Sir Laurence John E. Castillo, Grade 5 adviser, immediately followed by singing of our Philippine National Anthem. Thank you. You may now be seated. To formally introduce to us our dear participants, may I call Mam Regine Joy L. Aman, Grade 4 adviser for the attendance of our participants. Thank you, Mam Regine. Reading is a complex cognitive process of decoding symbols in order to construct or derive meaning (reading comprehension). It is a means of language acquisition, of communication, and of sharing information and ideas. Today, marks another remarkable momentous event for us to be blessed. Without learning how to read, she wouldn’t be here with us and joining in our google meet, indeed she proves that a good reader is a good leader. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome our very supportive and industrious Teacher-In-Charge, Mrs. Rechelle M. Gonzalez, let’s give her a virtual clap. Thank you very much Mam Rechelle M. Okay, so before we proceed to announcing of reading month activities, let’s us witness the special number coming from our guest speaker. Thank you so much.
