Yuletide Celebration Emcee Script
- 1. *soft magical music playing Intro: Once upon a time, a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens and from this small drop of sun, grew an enchanted palace. The magic palace grew bigger and bigger day by day. This fortress looks like The Paradise where diamonds, golds, rubies, sapphires, opals, and all precious stones can just be picked by hand in the palace’s parameters. This is far beyond beautiful than the Emerald City of Wizard of Oz, far beyond stunning than you could ever imagined. On one faithful day, the palace opened its gates to every prince and princess and king and queen in all the corners of the earth. “This is the showcase of creativity and confidence” the palace man shouted as he proclaimed the invitation. “Those who will victor the crowns will be entitled to own this fairylike place.” The invitation was charming and the prize at stake was incomparable, henceforth, all the princes and princesses and kings and queens once gathered in the magical palace one afternoon in December. They all convened just to be the fortunate champion of the place… Good afternoon, everyone! Welcome to the magical place where your dreams do come true and your thoughts come to life. This must be another once-upon-a-time in the Disney storybook wherein we bring reality to your every dream. Let your desires and wishes in life be filled with the magical wonders of this moment. Both: Welcome to the 2016 Yuletide Prince and Princess program! Wow! You look dazzling and ravishing in that gown this afternoon, Nessa. Really? Oh, thank you for that compliment, Nap. You, too, look very regal in that blazer. I’m flattered. But hey, I have observed that our candidates look more than astonishing. They are all handsome and beautiful this afternoon!
- 2. You bet. Well, looking at our candidates here, I’d say it will definitely be a tough competition. I strongly agree since this afternoon will be jam-packed with sheer excitement, we will soon find out who will be the worthy title holders. So what are we waiting for, _________? Let’s get the ball rolling! Franc Bianco once said, “If you’re looking for the God that is all around you, then everyday becomes aprayer.” Thus, let us allriseto invoke God’s presence to be led by our Grade III Filipino Teacher, Mrs. Gina J. Versales. And to imbibe among ourselves the virtue of nationalismand patriotism, please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. You may now be seated. Just like a flower that blooms and exudes its sweet scents to attract bees and butterflies, this programed will be swarmed first by our very own Queen. Let us pave the way for Dr. Daisydelia B. Yagonia, our school principal, for her opening remarks. Around of applause please. Thank you very much Dr. Yagonia for your inspiring message to all the attendees this afternoon. May your words of wisdom be our moving spirit as we enjoy our soiree this afternoon. By the way, Nessa, what do you think is the essence of this event? Well, in my own angle of vision, this event signifies the celebration of the yuletide season – the Christmas season, the holiday season. Yuletide is a Scandinavian word. Yule means ‘feast’ and ‘means’ a period of time. Therefore, Yuletide is the feasting time. I could not agree with you more, ____________. The period of time that would last number of days where food is abundant is only Christmas time. That’s why I am becoming fatter and fatter every day. I am just joking. - 3. the grand majestic entrance of our princes and princesses, kings and queens all over the world. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the candidates! Let us give them a resounding applause. **the procession music** Wow! It is indeed a showcase of beauties and creativity! The palace would have never been so magical like this without you princes and princess, kings and queens. Thank you! For the entire duration of the production number, I was in awe since Ive never seen something so delightful and pleasing to the senses. You have all waked with splendor and grace! Thank you! At this moment, lend us your ears as we would be serenaded by his soothing voice. Straight from the Kingdom of Japan, Mr. Jair Largo. Let us give him a thunderous applause. Brilliant! Thank you Jair for that number. We’ve been already loaded with a lot of wonderful recollections this afternoon. I am pretty sure that you’re all thrilled, eager, and excited to witness again the princes and princesses, kings and queens in their regal wear. Aren’t you? Definitely, I am excited. That’s why we won’t be holding you too long! Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you again the princes and princesses, kings and queens in the four corners of the world! Let’s give them a resounding applause as the magic continues with their fantasy wear runway! *runway magical music* Oh goodness that was really stunning and gorgeous!
- 4. Stunning and gorgeous indeed it was! Our candidates for today have their innate talents in modelling! Who knows in the future you would walk the runway just like Victoria Secret Angels. Thank you again! At this moment let us be serenaded again with the select grade three pupils. Let’s give them a resounding applause. Thank you for that beautiful rendition, girls! At this juncture, we will be giving you the grandest time ever! We have come to the most awaited part – the proclamation of the winners! Yes, you’ve heard that right! So brace yourselves for the blazing announcement ever. “Who would win and be entitled to win this magical castle?” We will find out the answer. Thank you! Congratulations to the winners! We must congratulate everybody even though you didn’t win, you are all winners in this afternoon’s affair. Thank you!
