INTRODUCTION
• Approximate imitation of the operation
• Method of analysis
Benefits :
• Decrease the total cost required.
• Able to do the experiment in short period of time.
• More effective and efficient
STELLA
I. Systems Thinking Experimental Learning Laboratory with
Animation.
II. Visual programming language introduced by Barry Richmand in
1995 for system dynamics modelling.
III.Allows users to run models created as a graphical representation.
IV.Act as a teaching tools, utilized in a business application& variety
of research.
SIMULATION IN EDUCATION
• To improve the abilities and allow the students to learn from
mistakes
• The students likewise can address active and thinking abilities
• The outcome can get in a short timeframe
• The models of Stella produce endless chances to explore and
observe
The relationship infecting rate of asymptomatic and infecting rate of symptomatic effect
number of people dead and recovered in lock down period. (original graph)
The infecting rate of asymptomatic is high vs infecting rate of symptomatic is low.
The infecting rate of asymptomatic is high vs infecting rate of symptomatic is high.
The infecting rate of asymptomatic is low vs infecting rate of symptomatic is high.
interaction between
users and simulated
equipment will occur
it also cost-effective
over the long-term.
the students can demonstrate
the abstract concept, and it
provide users with feedback
that allow users to improve
their knowledges and skills
ADVANTAGE
S OF
SIMULATION
Disadvantage of Simulation
The simulator itself in software
or hardware can become highly in
cost and need constant updates
and maintenance
Not always be able to recreate
the real-life situation completely
The staff or the teacher that
handles the simulators need to
be well trained before handling
the simulators
CONCLUSION
• Helps students to study the knowledge or concept in
different perspectives.
• Helps students to save their time by allowing them to redo
the process
• Build up cooperation among students
