This document describes a smart attendance system using RFID technology and IoT. This allows teachers to easily monitor attendance from anywhere using an internet connection. The system aims to reduce manual work and improve visibility of student attendance information in real-time.

INTRODUCTION: In recent years, there have been rise in the number of applications based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems and have been successfully functional to different areas as diverse as transportation, health-care, agriculture, and hospitality industry to name a few. IOT technology facilitates automatic wireless identification using electronic passive and active tags with suitable readers .
- 3. This is automated time & Attendance marking system, By using this online system Teachers can more accurately & quickly track Students entry into the class . This is not a manual process like our traditional attendance . It provides security & Confidentiality of students data. Real-time status tracking. It improves visibility to track & manage student attendance.
- 4. PROCEDURE: The process of Attendance by using RFID as explained below: Student / Staff will fall in range of the readers installed with their respective Smart Cards. Receiving the data at the reader will be fire to the server where the complete raw data is processed . The raw data is processed and integrated over the internet and send to the application where the attendance is maintained. We can easily access the application through internet and able to see the attendance.

- 10. FUTURE SCOPE: We can voice announcement system to this project. so whenever user logs in, we can announce message like, ―Your attendance has been logged in or ―Your card is invalid. We can send this data through internet to the user. So that user can access it remotely via internet. We can Implement GSM technology
- 11. CONCLUSION : In this System, Smart Attendance System using RFID can replace the manual system that transformation of information can be delivered without a hitch. This system will ease is school/college to monitor the student. The system can reduces manpower. Although there are different methods of tracking student but our system is very easy to handle and very convenient for college/university level. This system gives time saving, easy control and reliability.
