This document presents a study of various inverter types, including square wave and sinusoidal PWM inverters, with a focus on their output waveforms and total harmonic distortion (THD) analysis based on changes in the modulating index and carrier frequency. The report highlights the advantages of using sinusoidal PWM techniques to achieve low THD and describes future work on hardware implementation for domestic applications. Additionally, it discusses the industrial applications of different inverter configurations and the importance of minimizing harmonic content in output voltages.
