• Since the industrial revolution the world has been developing and adapting new
technological changes, manual and traditional methods have been replaced by
sophisticated software and programs. Thus, many of those programs are available
in the market to ease managing businesses, but not all of them are professional
when it comes to data processing, as their features differ from one to another .
ERPNext is one of those programs that is being used by a large number of
companies, for its excellent various traits.

Payroll is a process that includes calculating wages,
withholding appropriate income and payroll taxes, and
deducting employee-authorized amounts.

  • #5: In this stage all the info will be about the new employee .
  • #7: These are the main options : for the first one the user has to write the employee’s name or code . The second one id the type and here the reasons differs from one to another for example there sick type , pleasure type , and so on . Leave period is the time which will be taken by the employee . Days , weeks, mouths, and so on.
  • #8: As you can see this is the process of getting the approval , first the employee has to send a request for a leave and he needs to fill in all the needed information in leave window . then it will be shown to the responsible manager and finally it is either approved or rejected , if approved the employee can leave if not she/he can not .
  • #11: Earing: is the amount of money the employee gets in return for a specific work . Deduction : is the amount of money which is taken from the employee's earing. Additional component : it is the amount of money added to the salary for more efforts . Tax applicable : it is an option in the application that If the company would like to configure with valid slabs for the payroll processing. payable : it is the option where could be added to account table if the company wants to have it as separate account . depends on leave without pay :this option is selected if the employee took all the allocated resource or left without any approval . Don’t include in total : If this option is enabled, the component wont be added to the total of the Earnings or Deductions of the Salary Slip.
  • #13: Salary structure : it is a set of the employee's earrings and deduction. It is important for companies because: to help with keeping competitive salaries among the labor market. to differentiate between the levels in term of responsibility skills and performance. Usual components of a salary structure in Yemen . Basic salary : the net income without adding any other elements . House rent allowance: it is paid foreign workers who are especially requested to work . Travel allowance : it is paid from employer to employee for a specific task . Medical allowance : it is paid from employer to employee in special cases . Bounces : when exceed the exceptions . Ramadan allowance : it paid before Ramadan .
