- 4. What does a team mean? A team is a collection of people who interact with each other regularly and are dependent on each other for the attainment of common goals. What does a team do? A team brings together people with different expertise (strength) and thus enables application of specialized knowledge in solving problems. Team building removes hindrances and enhances organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- 6. The key elements of a team are: 1. goal sharing, 2. interdependence, 3. commitment and 4. accountability
- 7. The objectives at the Forming stage are: 1. To bind the group, so that they get to know each other and begin having a sense of team. 2. To align them to their shared purpose, goals and targets 3. To establish a positive team culture, the beliefs, values and norms of behavior 4.
