- 1. What have you learnt about technologies in the process of constructing this product? By MOHAMED RADWAN
- 2. Filming During the filming of our product, I learnt several things about the technologies used to film productions. For example I learnt how to use a camera more efficiently, how to create effects such as zooms and pans and how to manipulate the camera to produce images you want to produce. I also learnt several things about the uses of microphones in production for example the relationship between the position of a mic and the sound heard on film. The understanding of these complexities allowed me to produce a more professional looking production. Other technologies such as boom poles and tripods were also used in production and the production experience helped me develop skills in the use of these types of equipment. I also learnt to importance of quality equipment as many of the things I wanted to do would not have been achieved nearly as well had I used a
- 3. Editing The editing process also thought me a lot about technologies. I learnt how to use several high quality pieces of software like Final Cut pro and Motion on the Apple Mac. In these programmes I learnt how to create and use several things for example titleing, transitions (audio and visual) as well as use several video effects. On FCP I learnt overall how to manilpulate and work with a piece of media and how to produce a proffessionally cut piece that works in ways that make your production a much more sophisticated piece of media. I also learnt how to use web-technologies such as blogging websites to keep track of my production and make sure my production process is more organised and therefore more succesful.
