This document evaluates the feasibility of a visible light communication (VLC) forwarding scheme in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) networks, addressing the challenges posed by obstacles and data transmission delays in urban settings. The proposed VLC algorithm demonstrated effective communication with a transmission delay of under 1 second, but faced limitations with a data throughput of only about 4%. Future developments aim to incorporate roadside units to enhance communication duration and mitigate interference from obstacles.
