Our project
Considering the emerging trends on environmental education, training and
testing recycling and reusing are one of the key factor to create a virtuous
circle good practices between operators from different countries, in
order to create a environmental education program which is flexible and
shared for new generations.
The TrEE project aimed to develop a European network of trainers,
teachers and operators of environmental education and recycling methods,
who have searched, selected and experienced tools for efficient training.
The partnership have realized an exchange of experiences and opportunities
through transnational meetings, attended by staff and learners, a network of
local museums of recycling created by artifacts realized in each country
thanks to local activities, a set of photos produced to create tools for sharing
and training in recycle methods, in order to improve the implementation of
programs in environmental education.
Partners realized an initial phase of study and analysis of national policies
on the environment and teaching methods and/or projects and laboratories
just realized, and made a selection of the most innovative and effective
practices.
In each country Partners have implemented local activities and workshops,
involving trainers, teachers and trainees, on recycling, reuse, waste
separation, etc., and have realized a photos collection to disseminate these
experiences of environmental education.
Our partner institutions have different experiences on a wide range of
activities, involving different learner groups and target groups, as different
backgrounds. One common point for our learners was the need to satisfy
their curiousity and professional training needs about the efficacy of policies,
strategies as of specific programs and activities to promote, at different
levels, active effects on environmental education and sustainable
development. Each Partner have also organize a local exibition as part of
an European festival of recycled products, and a final event, to deliver the
results of the project and realize the final show and book“ The little
mermaid and the sea full of waste” realized Recycling Materials.
The project was also an exciting international experience for the participants
who gained a wider perspective of education, experienced mobility,
international dialogue and an European dimension of a specific sector of
adult education.

Whole partnership had a European cooperation team, and the learning
opportunities and experiences offered both our learners and to those
within the partner organisations, created an opportunity to continue
and improve relations on cooperation between our institutions.
The partnership gave the project the opportunity to analyze, discuss
and compare among experts coming from different contexts,
and gave an European dimension to the issues of environmental
education recycling and reusing in the dimension of sustainable
development.
The final outputs are good resources for implementation of non
formal and informal trainings on recycling and reusing in all of
Europe.
The end users of the project will have a chance to use produced
training experiences, training materials and tools in their own
training activities.
Therefore, these will be good resources for the end users or
stakeholders of the project in Europe.
