• Higher education refers to post-secondary education.
• It is a system in which the secondary students are
inputs and graduates or postgraduates are outputs who
become the part of economic life in practical field.

which students study for degrees and academic
research is done.

• To discuss the nature and features of philosophy of
education particularly ,of higher education
• To highlight the urgency and need to get higher

‘Man can only become man by education

• derived from ‘Educare’ – to draw out and realize
potential; or ‘Educere’ – to bring up and nurture.
