• Why does this mean?

• Some health and social care services are
privately funded. This means that people
either pay directly for the service or have
private healthcare insurance.
• These are monitored by the CQC to
ensure a high quality of care.
Voluntary Care
• Organisations that provide voluntary care
include charities and local voluntary
initiatives. Volunteering is a good way to
increase confidence and learn new skills.

• Values are central to work in health and
social care. They are principles that guide
workers to understand right from wrong and
are about what is important when caring and
supporting individuals.

• You will be given a heading, put together a
summary of information about the health and
social care value to share with the group.
How you may demonstrate

and dislikes
