  • #14: ABI/Inform: “steve jobs”, apple, iphone; scholarly journalsThe APA rule is that the author and date ALWAYS stay together, but the page number follows immediately after the direct quote. A block quote does not use quotation marks. Also notice the difference in the period placement for the two quotes.
