Is there a difference? Both are used to enhance learning When technology is integrated into a lesson, students are using the technology to assist in learning “ Mindtools are computer applications that, when used by learners to represent what they know, necessarily engage them in critical thinking about the content they are studying” (Jonassen, 1996)
There is no difference With the growing demand of technology in the workforce, schools are preparing students in elementary school for these demands In one school, “the class will examine news reports, websites, propaganda, history books, blogs, even pop songs.  The goal is to teach kids to be discerning consumers of information and to research, formulate and defend their own views” (Steptoe & Wallis, 2006) Schools are integrating technology to enhance students’ learning
