ICW#10: PART A - FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT

• You will create a formative assessment (quiz) for
  your Case Analysis #1 in your group:
• Get into your Case Analysis groups
   o   Use Zoho online test maker - Zoho Challenge
   o   Create a test/quiz that will assess students’ understanding
       of the standard that you used for your case analysis #1
   o   Use a minimum of 3 different types of questions
       (see Zoho Challenge for these options)
   o   You need at least 5 questions maximum 8.

ICW#10: Part A - Formative Assessment

• Once you have created your quiz/test:
   o Embed the test on your Teacher website>> Assessments
     page
   o Distribute the test to at least five learners (your classmates
     can be your learners/ ULA/ Instructor)
      • Can I share this on Facebook? ABSOLUTELY! This is what Facebook
        is great at. See how many people you can get to take the quiz by the
        end of class.
   o View and analyze the quiz as a group
      • Discuss: What do you think of the quiz/test? Any issues? Problems?
        Strengths?
      • We will look at the results in a few more minutes.

ICW#10: PART B - REPORTING YOUR RESULTS

•    Embed the Zoho test Results (or insert an overview
     screenshot) on your Teacher website -> Assessment page
     o Take a screenshot of each question's “summary of responses”
        • You will find this in Zoho Challenge
        • Briefly discuss the results. (Patterns? Concerns? Issues with the quiz/
          test itself?)
     o Make data-driven decision based on the results about whether or
       not your “learners” demonstrate knowledge on that standard
     o What is your decision, and rationale.
•    Finally, submit the link to your Teacher Website ->
     Assessment page to Oncourse Assignments

  • #4: Suggestions for creating quiz questions: Can they recall a fact? Can they tell the difference between two different facts? Can they see relationships between facts? Can they give examples? Can they explain the fact in a new context?
