The study focuses on formulating fast dissolving tablets of ketorolac tromethamine using superdisintegrants, particularly croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, and sodium starch glycolate, to accommodate patients with swallowing difficulties. Evaluations showed that formula g5 (with 3% croscarmellose sodium) exhibited promising physicochemical properties and a superior dissolution profile compared to conventional tablets. Stability studies indicated that this formulation maintained its characteristics under both ambient and accelerated conditions, making it a viable option for effective pain management.
