Introduction
 Prepaid energy meter which is based on the concept “Pay first and then
use it”.
 Prepaid energy meter also reduces the error made by humans while taking
readings to a large extent and there is no need to take reading in it.
 The prepaid energy meter uses a recharge card which is available in the
prepayment electricity vending station.
 In our project we are using keypad through which we can done our
recharge.

The main objective of our project is to minimise the cost of our
project which we design.
To overcome the problems or error in meter reading.
To overcome in the problems of traditional billing systems this
project is designed.
To reduce the loss of power and revenue.

Future Scope
A mini printer can be interfaced to get a printed bill or
details of billing.
Remote recharging can be implemented through telephone
line or wireless network.

 Because of experimental design our device is not suitable for practical use now.
 Lack of emergency balance.
 Limitation of load.

Conclusion
In this our report it is intended to present an overview of prepaid energy meter,
which can control the usage of electricity on consumer side to avoid wastage of
power.
Prepaid energy meter is a concept to minimize the Electricity theft with a cost
efficient manner.
 In Bangladesh and other Asian country peoples are using more post-paid energy
meter so here we are courage to peoples about the prepaid energy meter.
