Cloudstack never heard of it

Giles Sirett will be giving a presentation at the CloudStack Collaboration Conference about improving awareness of Apache CloudStack. He acknowledges that many people have never heard of CloudStack due to a lack of brand awareness and marketing. Some of the challenges CloudStack faces include overreliance on volunteer marketing, difficulty engaging with customers as an open source project, and lack of incentives for the largest contributor, Citrix, to sell CloudStack directly. The presentation will discuss ways to address these perception and awareness problems through more coherent marketing engagement and involvement from users and customers.
