This shift has prompted a focus on different instructional models, many that incorporate technology, which we call Blended Learning. DIRECTIONS: The video on the following slide showcases Ian Jukes, founding partner of the 21st Century Project and international consulting group. Please take the next 5-7 minutes to watch the video clip to understand the characteristics of modern learners and the need for new instructional models, as well as answer the following questions: 1.What does Jukes argue is the key to preparing students for life in the future? 2.With your current understanding of instructional technology, if you were to take one “baby step,” as Jukes requests towards changing how you teach using technology, what step would that be?
