Registration of a new prospective customer (Temporary Connection)



          Accepting the supply details including type of connection, Address particulars, phase, load, contract
     1    demand, contractor details, transformer, substation, subdivision etc. during the registration of new
          connection.



     2    Checking the feasibility at the customer premise for providing the connection


          Calculation of the security deposit and the advance temporary consumption charge based on the load is to

     5    Issuing the service order for providing the temporary connection.

Attaching the Customer with a Permanent Account


             Creating an Account (Subscription) for the prospective customer with the new meter id and load

Meter/Regulator Management

            Provision to update the meter status and readings based on allocation, re allocation and closure of

Meter Reading management

            Defining routes based on the sequence (device installed, house, locality, street etc.) in which you

            want the devices to be read.

            Provision to schedule the meter reading entry/capture exercise for a group of devices based on

     3      Provision to enter the readings manually into the system

     4      Provision to capture the readings from the HHD/CMRI devices in bulk mode

Metered and Unmetered Billing
     1       Capability for streetlight billing, which may or may not involve any meter

             LT category customers, the provision to capture readings from two different meters, (one for

             industry/another for lighting. Viz. A workshop.)

     4       For HT customers, usage charges based on Energy Reading and Demand Reading to be calculated

             Charges may be applied based on consumption, connected load or fixed.

     2       Surcharge, Penalty Configurations based on the consumption
     3       Attaching one time charges
     4       Calculate interest/penalty on the outstanding bills

     5       Power factor and load factor based surcharge

     6       Seasonal and off seasonal billable demand for billing.

             For High-tension customers for which the capacitors up to the specified rating and specification not

Energy Accounting


              System is required to account the energy flows various feeders, transformers, substations

Load Census



              Provision to compare the average consumption and the contract demands of the customer

Load Balancing



              Output of the load census is the balancing module, which will provide inputs to concerned
     1        field staffs to take necessary action to rectify the issue related to imbalance of load coming
              under a transformer.
