The paper presents an experimental investigation of a three-phase quasi switched boost inverter (QSBI) utilizing an improved pulse width modulation (PWM) control strategy to enhance performance by providing a higher boost with a reduced duty ratio. An experimental setup demonstrated that the QSBI could achieve a peak AC load voltage of 80V with a boost factor of 2.22, significantly surpassing conventional methods. The findings indicate the potential of this improved PWM technique to reduce component stress and increase efficiency in power electronic converters.
