GENRE
• My magazine is rap based
• My reasoning for this is because rap is rapidly increasing in
popularity especially In London areas so I feel it would have a
large audience
• I feel there is a gap in the market for rap magazines as many
rap artists are frowned upon as many (mostly the older
generations) think rap promotes violence and gang crime,
however I believe the intentions are far from that.

FONT
• MAST HEAD = DIRTY EGO
• COVERLINE FONT = MONACO
• DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD = Arial
-I have chosen to do 'THATS A RAP', I it's an engaging and
slightly amusing, it also reflects the magazines context as it
simply rapping up the genre. T
-he font i have chosen is 'dirty ego' as it is appealing and
practical, the font gives off an unfinished and broken look,
reflecting that rap is not too serious , creative and
continuesly thriving.
- the colour of the font is going to be a dark red, as that
colour ascostiates with courage, leadership etc, which
describe my chosen genre snd the artists within as each
artist have strong beliefs and thoughts they express.
COLOUR SCHEME
• Red is the color of extremes. It’s the color
of passionate love, violence, danger, anger,
and adventure.
• The darker tones create a more sophisticated, classic and
serious vibe. The darker shades evokes power, luxury,
elegance, but can also reflect professionalism, neutrality
and simplicity. It's bold, powerful and is often used to
evoke mystery.
THANK YOU
