house gases and increasing production
      in the agriculture sector?

Evidence of impact
1. Various Danish policies: what you grow, ban
   fertilizer, ban burning grass on land into biogas:
   National MCO2: 1990: 3,5 Mt  2009 1.6, -> 2020
   0 Mt with growing production and yield
2. Individual CFE Project of 11 ha combines
   food, fodder, trees: crops, and energy important:
   Not only food, need to add environment services:
   Need add non market values, increase up/to 30%
3. Starting Point North: Oversupply, energy + Env.
   Problems. For Small holder: Land rights and need
   for intensification, but need
   knowledge, compliance, consistent measuring
Going to scale
1. Resource efficiency= less GHG, more production:
   Don’t take out biomass: can deliver food + energy
   and ensure long term CO2 sequestration
2. Need to include environment service, cause
   negative impact is lower with holistic look at Earth
   and agriculture . Is Agro forestry + organic
   farming, seen as romantic in North but practice for
   small holders, but how to create real revenues?
3. Value by Linking South and North: Document what
   you do on farm + measure CO2. a) Label for organic
   and PES gives premium price; b)
   carbon=biodiversity and value on CO2 Market
