Opening sequence primary research
- 1. OPENING SEQUENCE – QUESTIONNAIRE DIMITRIOS KYRIAZIS AS LEVEL MEDIA STUDIES
- 2. Introduction In order to find out what the audience would like and or want to see in an opening sequence, I have decide to make a questionnaire, that is constructed with 10 questions. All questions have been formulated in such a way where they can be easily understood by a wide range of individuals. This questionnaire was given out to 20 random people (mainly students) in my school. The results were later calculated and presented in the form of graphs and pie charts. What I would like to gain from this project is the preference of what different people would like to see in an opening sequence, which is my main target. The questions have been formed to cover all key aspects necessary for a successful film opening. Furthermore the options given are based on diverse thoughts of pupils that are interested in the film opening.

By looking at this precise pie chart I can calculate that the majority of people that took this survey were males but only a few females.

As that can link to the question of favorite film genre where comedy was the most chosen film genre chosen by the public.

This shows the diversity of the peoples preference for different film genres.
