This document presents a seminar on an IOT-based railway track fault and disaster detection system. It begins with an introduction describing the need to monitor railway tracks to prevent accidents. It then reviews 5 related works on railway fault detection and their objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. Next, it outlines the problem statement, objectives, and system requirements of the proposed project, which includes detecting track cracks, fires, and platform availability using sensors. It describes applications such as displaying platform availability and automatically activating sprinklers during fires. The document concludes that the proposed image processing-based system could help prevent accidents by identifying objects on tracks in real-time.
