- 1. REPORT ON SCIENCE COMPUTER ASSIGNMENT Name : Siti Nurfarahin binti Haerom Matric no : MS1315519720 Class: CP3T17 Date: 30 AUGUST 2013 Activity : Setting up a local area network Lecturer: Mr. Syed Nasir

Location: Computer Laboratory 7 Time: 1.00 p.m – 3.00 p.m TIME ACTIVITY 1.00 Each tutorial organize an organization, leader of the tutorial become an administer, four people have been choose to arrange the cabling,some student searching for the tutorial and one student as a photographer. ADMINISTER: - Jeremy Jed (CP3T17) - Timothy (CP3T18) 1.30 -Student start the cabling work and the other student search for tutorial. However, this part take a long time because of some problems such as the wire not set up properly. - many student also still don’t get it what they should do. - some student also try to connect to unknown WiFi even thought the server is not ready yet. 2.03 -Only three computer connected with the access point because one of the computer was using Windows7 Home Basic which not using same operating system with the other three computer which using Windows7 Professional and Windows7 Premium.
- 3. - the computer that using Windows7 Home Basic cannot connect with the other because the operating system is compatible. - the other computer connected to the server by using Username : Default Password : SQ9XY4T03s - 2.32 -Only eleven computers out of 33 computers successful connected with the server while the other computers was unsuccessful to connect with the server because of several reason. - List of computer that cannot connected to the network: 1) 10 computers = Windows8 2) 4 computers = Windows7 Premium 3) 1 computer = Windows7 Home Basic 2.45 Discussion between lecturer and student.
