MAVERICK VSAT Service
The Network Innovations’ MAVERICK VSAT service offers unprecedented flexible, scalable, and efficient service
to satellite bandwidth. The MAVERICK VSAT service is agnostic to the antenna form factor, allowing clients to
utilize their existing capital assets. MAVERICK’s ability to offer services on antennas from 1.0m to 2.4m or
greater antennas, offers true portability of service and provides the client with cost savings when they have the
ability to upscale the antenna form factor.
• True Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation
• State of the art coding and modulation technology
• Multiple link technologies; MF-TDMA, SCPC, Mx-DMA
• Guaranteed Bit Rates
• Acceleration/Optimization
• 24/7 Monitoring
• Flexible contract terms
• Burstable bandwidth options
• Bandwidth on Demand services
• On Demand service plan changes
Guaranteed Bit Rates
The MAVERICK VSAT Service offers Guaranteed Bit Rate Service due to advances in technology that allow us to
change all the factors on your link from symbol rate to coding and modulation - leaving the only constant factor in
the equation as the throughput required. Unlike traditional service delivery methods that only focus on maintaining
“connectivity” at the RF level, MAVERICK technology changes the actual RF carrier parameters to instantly
guarantee the traffic you are subscribed to without introducing any extra additional Jitter to the network so mission
critical latency sensitive applications work seamlessly during the weather event.
On Demand Service Plan and Technology Options
Whether it is the field/fleet operator or a head office control function, MAVERICK VSAT puts you in control of your
service plan, allowing you to change service plans on the fly. On demand service users can select from preset
throughput plans by simply changing the Service Level Agreement, and the service billing adjusts accordingly.
MAVERICK VSAT also allows you to alternate between MF-TDMA, SCPC and Mx-DMA return technologies.
MAVERICK VSAT Service
Acceleration / Optimization
MAVERICK VSAT optimizes and accelerates traffic at a granular level so you can easily set policies to define the
maximum amount of bandwidth any particular Internet site, cloud application or user can consume. This level of
control ensures your strategic applications always have the bandwidth they need for maximum performance and
that real-time traffic like video and voice are protected or contained based on priority.
24/7 Monitoring
MAVERICK VSAT offers a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) that utilizes a suite of tools capable of measuring
all aspects of your network, from RF link health to network vitals. MAVERICK VSAT customers are provided secure
login access to the monitoring suite, giving our customers the ability to view network characteristics in real-time.
The NOC, armed with a highly sophisticated set of monitoring tools, work to identify issues within our customers
networks, and remedy situations before our customers are even aware of the issues.
MAVERICK VSAT Service
Burstable Bandwidth
MAVERICK services are presented as Guaranteed Bandwidth packages with low cost bursting options up to 100% of
your total guaranteed bandwidth allotment. This is a major change to the traditional managed service offerings
available in the market place, where over-contended platforms struggle to provide any reliable increased
throughput. MAVERICK guarantees bandwidth that you can count on whenever and wherever you need, and offers
realistic bursting options at a fraction of the cost of traditional service offerings.
Extend, Share, Swap
MAVERICK allows you to seamlessly extend your corporate network to your field units. Use existing corporate
infrastructure, voice over IP, content, and server services in your field operations as if you were still in the office. The
MAVERICK service follows the modem; use your modem on your fixed station antenna and then quickly take it with
your fly away kit, removing the need for different services for different form factors. Field swap your modems with a
simple change at the teleport, no more option file reloads required.

  • 27. MAVERICK VSAT Service The Network Innovations’ MAVERICK VSAT service offers unprecedented flexible, scalable, and efficient service to satellite bandwidth. The MAVERICK VSAT service is agnostic to the antenna form factor, allowing clients to utilize their existing capital assets. MAVERICK’s ability to offer services on antennas from 1.0m to 2.4m or greater antennas, offers true portability of service and provides the client with cost savings when they have the ability to upscale the antenna form factor. • True Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation • State of the art coding and modulation technology • Multiple link technologies; MF-TDMA, SCPC, Mx-DMA • Guaranteed Bit Rates • Acceleration/Optimization • 24/7 Monitoring • Flexible contract terms • Burstable bandwidth options • Bandwidth on Demand services • On Demand service plan changes
  • 28. Guaranteed Bit Rates The MAVERICK VSAT Service offers Guaranteed Bit Rate Service due to advances in technology that allow us to change all the factors on your link from symbol rate to coding and modulation - leaving the only constant factor in the equation as the throughput required. Unlike traditional service delivery methods that only focus on maintaining “connectivity” at the RF level, MAVERICK technology changes the actual RF carrier parameters to instantly guarantee the traffic you are subscribed to without introducing any extra additional Jitter to the network so mission critical latency sensitive applications work seamlessly during the weather event. On Demand Service Plan and Technology Options Whether it is the field/fleet operator or a head office control function, MAVERICK VSAT puts you in control of your service plan, allowing you to change service plans on the fly. On demand service users can select from preset throughput plans by simply changing the Service Level Agreement, and the service billing adjusts accordingly. MAVERICK VSAT also allows you to alternate between MF-TDMA, SCPC and Mx-DMA return technologies. MAVERICK VSAT Service
  • 29. Acceleration / Optimization MAVERICK VSAT optimizes and accelerates traffic at a granular level so you can easily set policies to define the maximum amount of bandwidth any particular Internet site, cloud application or user can consume. This level of control ensures your strategic applications always have the bandwidth they need for maximum performance and that real-time traffic like video and voice are protected or contained based on priority. 24/7 Monitoring MAVERICK VSAT offers a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) that utilizes a suite of tools capable of measuring all aspects of your network, from RF link health to network vitals. MAVERICK VSAT customers are provided secure login access to the monitoring suite, giving our customers the ability to view network characteristics in real-time. The NOC, armed with a highly sophisticated set of monitoring tools, work to identify issues within our customers networks, and remedy situations before our customers are even aware of the issues. MAVERICK VSAT Service
  • 30. Burstable Bandwidth MAVERICK services are presented as Guaranteed Bandwidth packages with low cost bursting options up to 100% of your total guaranteed bandwidth allotment. This is a major change to the traditional managed service offerings available in the market place, where over-contended platforms struggle to provide any reliable increased throughput. MAVERICK guarantees bandwidth that you can count on whenever and wherever you need, and offers realistic bursting options at a fraction of the cost of traditional service offerings. Extend, Share, Swap MAVERICK allows you to seamlessly extend your corporate network to your field units. Use existing corporate infrastructure, voice over IP, content, and server services in your field operations as if you were still in the office. The MAVERICK service follows the modem; use your modem on your fixed station antenna and then quickly take it with your fly away kit, removing the need for different services for different form factors. Field swap your modems with a simple change at the teleport, no more option file reloads required. MAVERICK VSAT Service
