The paper discusses a single switch parallel quasi resonant converter topology for induction heating applications, utilizing a power MOSFET to achieve output power ranging from 1.7kW to 3.125kW at different duty cycles with lower total harmonic distortion (THD). The system's performance, based on simulation results, indicates that higher duty cycles yield better power generation and lower THD, making it suitable for domestic applications. The implementation includes experimental setups validating the effective use of electromagnetic induction for efficient heating without direct contact.
