This document describes a smart dustbin system that uses IoT technologies like GPS tracking and ultrasonic sensors. The system aims to more efficiently manage waste collection. It includes smart dustbins connected to a real-time monitoring system. Ultrasonic sensors in the dustbins measure waste levels and send this data via NodeMCU microcontrollers and GPS modules to the cloud for analysis. When a bin reaches capacity, an alert is sent to waste collectors with the bin's location from the GPS data. This allows for automated, on-demand waste collection to keep areas cleaner. The system is intended to reduce costs, waste, and human effort compared to traditional waste management methods.
