This document discusses a proposed system using visible light communication to enhance the security of public wireless LAN services by enabling the distribution and frequent updating of encryption keys and SSIDs, addressing existing vulnerabilities in current methods. The visible light communication system allows for easy management of user access and improves connection convenience, with experimental results indicating faster connection times compared to conventional methods. The proposed approach leverages lighting equipment as transmitters, limiting access to legitimate users within the transmission area and thereby enhancing both security and usability.
